Pump or Mule: Place the soft side of the strap at the back of your ankle, leaving equal amounts of strap on either side. Cross the straps flat across the top of your foot and bring the ends together, placing one strap on top of the other, under your shoe.

Slingback: Simply insert one end through the back of the sling and wrap the strap in a single loop around your ankle.
